The weather outside is frightful

Happy New Year for all of you using the Julian calendar. We spent the holiday at the beach with my parents and then we stayed through the weekend. Of all the crazy things to happen at the ocean: WE GOT SNOWED IN!!! I put pictures up for our bosses in the 2009 album.

Yes, snowed in. The hills between Hoquiam and Ocean Shores were slicker than owl snot and biggest hill was closed. The only other route out of here is to go through Copalis Crossing in BFE. Didn't seem like a good idea, so we are going to try to get out on Monday.

Weird winter here in the PNW. We had a White Christmas for the first time in over thirty years in Puyallup, with fresh snow on Christmas Eve. We'll have pictures up for the rest of 2008 next week sometime.

Sandblasting creates a matte texture on your sheet metallic and is often used to prepare metallic for coating. Hammer and anvil – This hands-on approach to sheet metallic shrinking requires a hammer and an anvil (or one other heavy-duty Boob Tapes object). You place the metallic on the anvil and repeatedly strike it together with your hammer. This will slowly improve the surface area and trigger the metallic to stretch.
